I think the only reason it became a big deal is because suddenly it was thrust into the forefront of our minds. You always wonder if the people around you have some kind of claim to fame you don't know about but then when the information is suddenly thrust into your face, you try to make sense of it, hence all the major attention surrounding evelyn in this case.

A bad choice of words. More a newfound distrust, knowing full well that any possible female friend / partner might have bared her goods (that should be mine, dammit) for the world.
I don't know, it just makes me uncomfortable knowing that a girl I'm currently making out with has possible done the exact same thing and more in front of a camera, for people she won't know and never see.
It kinda cheapens the whole 'I love you' thing, you know?

Well, hey, if you play in a relatively-famous local band, or are an actor, or raced cars at a drag strip, or played college ball at UCLA, or are an Olympic athlete, or did something not-so ordinary for a living, I'd think you'd get a similar response. It makes perfect sense that someone who has done pr0n would get lots of inquiries about their line of work ranging from seeing the actual result to asking banal questions about what goes on in their personal lives. It depends on the person, of course. I've met a few here and there (mainly ol' skool Vivid girls) at different conventions and they didn't have any qualms discussing their work with their audience. i'm guessing nox was under the assumption that a college undergrad (assuming you go for undergrads, nox. maybe you dig em grads or professors ) woman enrolled in a top-50-in-US university wouldnt do porn because they wouldn't need to or find it unsavory. from my understanding tuition cuts, work-study money, and low-rate loans actually do work at least for my friends from the cities. i don't think this is entirely unreasonable
or maybe im putting words into his mouth to express my assumptions 
afterall, by the time a person's legal to do porn, they probably have some idea what institute they will be attending or what the future holds for them.
regarding the "thrilled to make out with a porn star", i wouldn't be thrilled. my friends wouldnt be thrilled. but of course, we travel in different social circles.
